Drexel Photo Prayer Blog 4

One of my passions is to intimately connect the larger body of Christ in our churches with our academic communities.  There is so much going on at Universities and Colleges.  Students, faculty, professional staff and administration need you to know and care about who they are and what they do.  From time to time I will post an image of Drexel and some related prayer concerns. Although I work specifically at Drexel and these posts will be specifically about Drexel, please use these prayer posts to not only pray for Drexel but for the academic community most closely connected to you and all academic communities in general.  For the majority of the pictures the photographer is Michael “Hair” Kelley the Baptist Campus Minister at Widener University.  He is a semi-professional photographer so if you like his work feel free to contact him at

I am feeling extravagant today so we will have three images.

Please pray for the administration at Drexel University.

  • Pray for the decisions that they make and how those decisions will affect the lives of so many Drexel students.
  • Pray for wisdom and discernment and integrity.  Pray that they think about what is the right thing to do not only the easiest or most productive thing to do.
  • Pray that they are able to find balance between serving students and educating minds and pleasing employees and raising funds.

  • Pray for their individual lives.
  • Pray that God blesses them not only in their jobs but also in their personal lives.
  • Pray that Brian is able to assist them in any every appropriate way.
  • Pray that Brian has opportunities to show the love of Christ to them as persons not just offices.

  • Pray that their decisions do not adversely affect the ability to be and become a Christian while at Drexel.
  • Pray that their decisions continue to grant Brian and others access to work with students as they process what it means to be a Christian at Drexel.

Thank you for your prayers.  If you took the time to pray for Drexel students today please let us know by leaving a comment below.
