Week 3: This Week at Drexel 10/8 – 10/14/2012

It’s week 3.  Have mid-terms started yet?

Monday 10/8  No MALE DISCIPLESHIP due to the University Holiday

Wednesday 10/103 we will gather at 2PM in my office (James E. Marks Intercultural Center room 210) for Prayer.  In the middle of your day, in the middle of you week take some time to pray.  This hopefully is more convenient for our commuter friends that may not be near campus for our evening Discipleship times.

Wednesday 10/10 6:00pm-8:00pm, Ross Commons, 3rd Floor Female Discipleship  Sponsored by Disciples inDeed  This is our weekly bible study for ladies.  Every Wednesday at 6:00pm is another chance to strengthen your daily walk with God!  Here you will find a weekly does of support and encouragement.  This term we’re studying Embracing God’s Design for Your Life by Sheila Walsh.  No experience necessary and questions are welcome!

Wednesday 10/10 from 6 – 7:30 PM in the Interfaith Chapel at the James E. Marks Intercultural Center the Interfaith Council will continue their Journey Conversations.  This week we will be discussing Parents, Partners, Friends and Faculty: Navigating Our Relationships.  Rabbi Isabel De Koninck will be facilitating the conversation.

Thursday 10/11 from 10 AM – 4 PM Disciples InDeed will be partnering with Drexel Cru and Epiphany’s life group to have a Soularium table on the corner of 33rd and Market by the Dragon Statue in connection with Engage24.  There will be many opportunities for you to participate.  More information on this later today.

Sunday 10/14 Rev. Brian Musser will be preaching twice.  In morning at 10:30 AM at the Foundry in Wallingford, PA.  If you want to hear Rev. Musser preach please contact him and he will arrange transportation.  Then in the evening at 6 PM at the Forge on Widener University’s campus.  If you are slightly interested I would highly recommend attending this service.  It would be a chance to see what a church service on a campus could look like.

Any questions do not hesitate to contact Rev. Brian Musser at or (215) 499-2970 or stop his office in the James E. Marks Intercultural Center on 33rd and Chestnut Sts., 2nd Floor, Room 210.
