Praying for Campuses (Part 6): Boundary Prayer

Recently, I have been concentrating on prayer.  Most of my posts have been applicable to anyone and everyone.  Now I want  to transition the conversation in the direction of specifically praying for colleges and universities.  The next 8 days I will be discussing the ways you can pray for a campus.  Even if you are not a student our colleges and universities need you prayers.  Please take time to pray for the students, faculty, professional staff and administration of the institutions that are so important within our culture.

There are many ways to pray. The following list is just a few examples of how you could pray effectively for your campus.

1)  Single Prayer

2)  Scripture Prayer

3)  Group Prayer

4)  Watchful Prayer

5)  Walking Prayer

6)  Boundary Prayer – This is a type of a watchful prayer, as well. Walk along the perimeter of your campus. Claim everything on the inside as God’s and pray that Satan does not cross that boundary. Consider yourself a watchman as in Ezekiel 3:17 Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me.
