10 Things to Pray about on Your Campus (Part 4)

If you have been following this blog for awhile you may have noticed that I have been talking about prayer a lot recently.  Eventually, I may change topics but for the next 10 posts I am going to suggest 1 thing you can pray about for campuses.  If you are a student, faculty, professional staff or administrator at a college or university please take time to pray for your school.  If you are anyone else please take a moment to allow God to specifically place a college or university on your heart.  You could pray for your Alma mater, your grandchild’s college, the one that is geographically closest or the school who’s football team you like.  If you can’t think of a specific school to pray for allow me to suggest one: Drexel.  I would love for you to pray for us. Colleges and universities throughout our nation could use your prayers.

I have been finding that less information is better so each day I am going to suggest one prayer concern.  I will keep a list with links to previous requests.

1)  Pray that students find new life in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

2)  Pray that faculty, professional staff and administration find new life in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

3) Pray for opportunities to share the story of Christ.

4) Pray for more workers. Pray that Christian students, faculty, professional staff and administration seriously consider the opportunities they have to influence the world around them for the sake of Christ.  Pray that seminaries produced mission minded individuals willing to devote their lives to serving academic communities.  Pray that churches develop a passion for caring for those involved in our universities and colleges.   Matthew 9:37 and 38 Then he said to His disciples, “the harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest field.”
